Jerry Koh is a consortium member and the founder and president of The Nice Futures Corporation. He is a systems innovation and systemic design leader with over 20 years of cross-sector experience spanning governments, nonprofits, and multinational corporations in Canada, the US, and Asia. He uses strategic foresight, systems thinking, and user-centric design approaches to help organizations grow partnerships and turn complex problems into actionable opportunities. His recent projects include:

The Abu Dhabi Program for Effortless Customer Experience (Abu Dhabi Executive Office) – developed and facilitated a 10-day workshop  to redesign the life experiences of skilled workers and investors moving to Abu Dhabi, with 28 employees from 9 government departments and private businesses; developed and facilitates a 5-day service design spring to help 6 government departments improve their high transaction volume digital services.

Roadmap for Guelphs’ Food Circular Economy – provided advice and strategy development support to help the City of Guelph (Ontario, Canada) bring partners together in a coherent strategy to identify circular economy opportunities and execute on innovation partnerships.

Public sector impact procurement – worked with public sector partners to prototype agile innovation procurement approaches, and innovation partnership with vendors, while staying in compliance with public procurement guidelines. Grew the practice from $50K hackathons to three $1M projects, including Innovation Partnership: Procurement by Co-design with healthcare providers, Municipal Innovation Exchange with municipal governments, Buying With Impact with universities.
