Siim Sikkut is a consortium member of the Foundation and a leading expert in digital government and policy. He is currently a Managing Partner at Digital Nation, an advisory network originating from Estonia that helps build future-ready digital societies worldwide.

Siim served in the Estonian government for 10 years, leading the country’s digital government and digital policy efforts. From 2017 to 2022, he was the Government CIO, playing a key role in shaping Estonia’s globally recognized digital advancements. He is also a co-founder of Estonia’s pioneering e-Residency program and has been recognized by Apolitical as one of the world’s top 20 most influential people in digital government.

In 2022, Siim published his book, “Digital Government Excellence: Lessons from Effective Digital Leaders,” sharing insights from his extensive experience in driving successful digital transformation.
